feedback tab

where you can read & respond to the feedback left from your connections. your feedback rating is linked to your individual profile (not account) & is comprised of two numbers: the top # is your average feedback rating & the bottom # is your total number of jammates. you may change the number of jammates by adding from their profile or deleting from your connections tab, but you may not alter your rating. only the user who left the rating may alter the rating or commentary. the feedback left is able to be changed at any point, but remains a permanent fixture of your profile - so play nicely! the only way to immediately delete a feedback rating is to delete your profile.

privacy settings tab

where you manage how you are contacted, which profiles of yours are visible, which profiles of others are hidden & which accounts of others are blocked (from viewing your own & any future communications). when you choose to block another account, please note that all correspondence between accounts is deleted effective immediately on both sides.

account settings tab

where you manage your top level data ~ email, password, secret question & answer, mobile number. this is also where you can delete your entire account – which is a permanent action.

profile view

seeker

where you search for your musical matches. you can find many more search variables from the advanced search drop down – so that you can get as close as possible to what you are looking for.

profile pages

where you can review prospective matches' info, stats, resume, pics, clips, vids, & time signature. this is also where you would begin a new conversation via the message button. additionally, members may form associations via the icons in the bottom right corner of the general info area ~ link as jammates, bookmark, hide profile from future viewing, block member's entire account, or flag the account for us to review.

funktionality explanations

linking profiles

you may link profiles to become higher organizational structures ie jammates. you initiate the process by clicking the link icon in the bottom right corner of a prospective profile's general area. this sends a request that they must confirm via their messages inbox. once confirmed, they are added to your time signature's bottom number, your jammates section of the port sidebar & to your connections tab. when you visit their profile, the link icon will now be pink, signifying that you are now linked. to over their picture & click the remove button.

feedback ratings

the top # is your average feedback rating & the bottom # is your total number of jammates. leaving feedback ratings & reviews after you are confirmed as a jammate adds another layer of legitimacy to the site. a message is sent as a reminder to leave feedback & cannot be deleted from your messages inbox until the process of leaving feedback is complete. completion includes using sliders to assign percentages per each criteria, then leaving a written review before submitting the entry. you are allowed to alter the feedback you have left at any point, in the event that you change your mind – or they change their skills ( / ways ;)). feedback is permanent if the leaving profile's account is deleted. when viewing someone's feedback, you are also able to see the feedback that they have left for other members – so be kind!

messaging

you may initiate new messages with other members from their profile page, or continue ongoing conversations from your messages tab. to write any messages, you must have filled out your seeker tab through live performance experience & saved. if you are initiating a conversation & are not currently jammates, you are limited to two messages prior to a response. & then five messages after each subsequent response (prior to becoming jammates). you are allowed an unlimited amount of conversations with unlimited threads within.

forgot password

first try to enter what you think it may be. if it is incorrect, you will be brought to the verify login page where you will be able to sign in via two more methods ~ email & text. for email verification, you will need to click the link in the email you receive & then you may reset your password in account settings. for text message verification, enter the code sent to your phone & once directed, you may reset your password in account settings.

account deletion

once you delete your account, all information relating back to you is destroyed. the words of your feedback reviews will remain in the receiving profile's feedback area, but all identification information – such as your profile picture & name – will be removed. any information pertaining to messages, including the actual text, will be deleted completely from any & all threads.
